John Minton (1917 - 1957. Angleterre)

Francis John Minton est un peintre anglais, également illustrateur et décorateur de théatre. Il a été une figure centrale, avec Keith Vaughan, Michael Ayrton, Robert Colquhoun, Robert MacBryde et John Craxton, du mouvement néoromantique anglais des années 1940. Remarquable dessinateur, il a réalisé un prodigieux nombre de dessins, d’illustrations et de peintures. Il a fait de nombreuses expositions personnelles.
