  1. This is an amazing find, for which I thank you! I would have automatically said, 'von Gloeden,' but you have introduced me to Maestro Galdi, of whose work I had not know before. Of course, there is similarity in style and choice of subject, but that is not surprising. I just Googled 'von Gloeden,' and discovered that Galdi was Guglielmo Pluschow's assistant, and that Pluschow was related to von Gloeden, and might have been his inspiration for the work for which he is now so well known. Who says that the Internet isn't educational!
